Former Milwaukee Sheriff and prominent Donald Trump supporter David Clarke lashed out at former Vice President Joe Biden in a bizarre tweet that implied athletic locker rooms were as predatory as prison showers.
On Tuesday, Biden told University of Miami students attending an anti-sexual assault rally that he would have “beat the hell” out of President Donald Trump in high school.
The former vice president was referencing Trump’s infamous defense of his Access Hollywood comments as “locker room talk.”
“A guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, ‘I can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it,’” Biden remarked. “They asked me if I’d like to debate this gentleman, and I said ‘no.’ I said, ‘If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.’”
“I’ve been in a lot of locker rooms my whole life,” said Biden, who helped lead his high school’s football team to an undefeated season. “I’m a pretty damn good athlete. Any guy that talked that way was usually the fattest, ugliest S.O.B. in the room.”
Former Sheriff Clarke did not contest Biden’s claim that Trump was the “fattest, ugliest S.O.B.” in a locker room, but instead pontificated on a bizarre prison-rape fantasy.
“JOE BIDEN: “I’VE BEEN IN A LOT OF LOCKER ROOMS IN MY LIFE,” Clarke tweeted, in all caps.
“Really Joe? Please tell us why and what you were doing hanging around all those locker rooms, Joe? Taking in the sights? Did the soap keep falling out of your hands Joe?” Clarke asked. “Huh? Tell us Joe.”
Clarke included the Trump campaign hashtag #MAGA, the acronym for Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan famously embroidered on red baseball hats.
