BORDERS, LANGUAGE, CULTURE: Three seminal words that have been the core of my credo for many years as a talk show host. I have earned a unique platform to communicate with people nationwide and the philosophies and solutions I proposed have always resonated with voters, most notably the populist election of our current President Donald Trump. I have been the voice of the forgotten in California as radical Leftists have devastated my home state. After being approached by a number of people, I am now openly considering the race for the U.S. Senate.
After questioning my radio audience on The Savage Nation this past Friday, I was overwhelmed by the positive feedback, not only on my radio program and social media, but by most conservative news outlets.
We have witnessed how the electorate is moving away from the establishment candidates in favor of the grassroots hopefuls. Across America, voters have abandoned the traditional candidates for those with more diverse backgrounds and those not afraid to speak outside of the party line. I am the embodiment of a populist candidate, speaking for American values and dedicating my life to the advancement of our environment.
Like many Americans, I am the son of an immigrant who had to work for where I am today. People relate to this work ethic, to this honesty that I share with them. For far too long, we have heard the stump speeches, the talking points, now is the time for truth.
If I enter this race, I will oppose Senator Dianne Feinstein for her seat, who is no longer endorsed by the California Democratic establishment. With the Democratic Party in such opposition, now more than ever the conservative citizens of California have the chance to be heard, to have a true representative in office.
If I choose to run, my platform will comprise many of the principles I have defended, unwaveringly, for more than 24 years. Firstly, we most seal our borders, build the wall like a citadel, and deport illegal alien prisoners.
I would push for legislation that would establish English as the only language permitted on government documents including ballots used for voting. Yes, this means English-only voting.
Furthermore, we need to address the homeless epidemic in major California cities, clean the needles, the feces, and the trash from our streets.
I would work to remove the greedy hand of government from the people’s pockets and reduce the California state taxes to 9%. Additionally, we need to make this a state of opportunity and friendly to business. Many people who earn a living in this state through legitimate means are unhappy and are leaving the state. Who is actually moving into California? Who’s building anything? Who is moving into California to come here to build a business? Hard-working businessmen and businesswomen are made to feel like they’re criminals for running a business in the state, and they hate the anti-business climate that is reinforced by lawmakers.
I would strive to decrease the tax burden and the regulations imposed on business, as well as, protect business owners from wrongful practices. In some instances, bums are looking for the quickest way out, resulting in suspicious claims in the very lucrative system here in the state of California called workers compensation.
Along with these measures, we must remember that God has given us dominion over the earth and its wildlife. I would see that we uphold this great responsibility and enact laws that protect these natural treasures.
I have until March 8th to make my ultimate decision whether or not I will throw my hat in the race. For the time being, I will be carefully considering the advice and opinions offered by those of you who have supported me in the past.
As reported by Joshua Caplan at The Gateway Pundit radio legend Michael Savage revealed to his audience Friday that ‘very important people,’ have approached him to run against Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).
SAVAGE: “Some very important people have come to me and said ‘Savage, would you like to run as an independent for the U.S. Senate in the of California against the esteemed Dianne Feinstein?’ Now you may say ‘you don’t have a ghost of a chance.’ With all those illegal aliens, with all that union money, with no press on your side, how could you David run against the Goliath of Feinstein?” […] I’ve been holding down the fort for 24 years this March. 24 years in the radio business and I am younger than Dianne Feinstein. That’s right. I’ve been asked by a number of very powerful, important people to run as an independent for the U.S. Senate in the state of California and I am contemplating whether I really want to leave what I’ve worked for all my life and roll in the mud because politics is the dirty business on the planet.”
Savage did not reveal who is pushing him to run for the U.S. Senate or what type of backing he would receive.
After this reporter tweeted the news, support for Savage poured in.
