Moderately large gathering in utter defiance of the “rule of 8” mandate by fascist Mayor John Cooper in Nashville brought upwards of 200 patriots to Tennessee’s Legislative Plaza noon on November 23, 2020
Hosted by Pastor Greg Locke of Global Vision Bible Church, the Faith & Freedom Rally brought upwards of 200 patriots from all over the Middle Tennessee area. Local news outlets such as NewsChannel5, WSMV (NBC), WZTV (FOX17), and WKRN (ABC) were also in attendance.
“There’s no situation in which they can come in and tell me how many people I can have in my house, or out of my house, and these small businesses are so challenged, churches are hurting, people are crippled these days because of this virus situation, so I said, you know what, I think it’s time that we just stand up and push back against it,” Locke said.
Other independent media sources were also at the event, documenting and interviewing some of the event’s guests and speakers. One news outlet in particular, WSMV (NBC), blatantly pushed their opinions while interviewing Pastor Greg Locke about the reason behind the Faith & Freedom Rally. So we wholeheartedly expect the bias and spin coming from them when they release their story in tonight’s news. We could expect NewsChannel5 (the mayor’s office mimeograph sheet) to provide their much known bias against the rally as well. FOX and ABC took their spot after the speakers to interview Pastor Locke. While they had their biases, we don’t expect much of a negative spin, but be wary.
ResidentBUZZ is an independent media source local to the Nashville area and will report what we see with minimal bias. The truth is more important than an agenda.
“That strictly goes against the first amendment that says we have the right to peaceably assemble,” said Amanda Schwarzntraub.
There was Pastor Locke’s rambunctious sermon and rants, as well as great speakers such as from The Church at Planned Parenthood (TCAPP). The national anthem was presented by Danny Gokey which was a nice touch to the rally.
Bottom line: The Faith & Freedom Rally was a very peaceful protest of the asinine mandates and orders of the fascist Nashville mayor John Cooper and his corrupt Metro Health Department. The rally organizer, Pastor Greg Locke had already spoken with Metro Police department officers and they also said they were also in complete agreement. The rally took place on state property, so metro police had no authority to give citations or violations in regard to a municipal suggestion by Mayor Cooper.
Hopefully this opens the eyes of other Nashvillians and Tennesseans as a whole.
