In Tennessee, all across its 95 counties, the primary season has passed earlier this month with big wins across each county’s demographics. Shifts from the “big boy club” to brand new conservative candidates are underway. In the Nashville area … Sumner County in the north east has made big shifts in a new county mayor, and several new county commissioners. The people have eliminated some of the worst candidates to date and now their winner has been declared, the local general election season is about to start just a little after the Memorial Day weekend.
Also during the August General Election, Tennessee is having its statewide primary election. In addition to the people of each county voting for their chosen candidate after the primary, they will vote and finalize their choices in August. The statewide primary election this year includes the governor as well as several state house representatives and state senators.
